PS Plus is 5!

PlayStation Plus turned 5 this week, the scheme which has brought free games, extra discounts and great multiplayer experiences has turned 5 this week.

The scheme launched on 29th June 2010 and has brought over 350 titles to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Games mixed from exclusives to Indie games, and have featured some great titles such as Guacamelee, Ollie Ollie 2, Killzone Mercenary’s and many many more.

Now with the July update being announced in the next day or so, are we going to get some extra bonuses to celebrate? Sony already announced that users who had joined Plus since the beginning would get a surprise in their emails, I wasn’t an early adopter but joined soon after so unfortunately will miss out on this bonus.

Many games have been rumoured to be included in the July update, with the Japan store teasing Batman on the Vita, and Guilty Gear. Other games being rumoured are Rocket League, Rayman Legends, and more, hopefully though we won’t have to wait long to find out.

What are your hopes for the free games? Post them in the comments.
